1. What is the purpose of the Association?
Our purpose is to cultivate a Kingdom-focused culture of engaging churches by sowing seeds of transformation into local churches. We can’t create culture; we are only sowing and cultivating in God’s field.
2. How is the purpose accomplished?
We focus on 3 primary strategies:
Cultivate Leaders –Processes designed to cultivate a disciple-making lifestyle among churches and leaders. Examples include the Dangerous Pastors disciple-making expedition, the Younique personal life-planning journey, Leading from Your Strengths personal discovery and team-building, Pastors and Leaders Learning Communities online and in person training and peer learning, Leadership Coaching and Coaching Skills training, and P.L.A.C.E.
Engage Communities –Resources designed to assist churches increase awareness of and engagement with their communities. Examples include Church Unique congregational vision pathway, Healthy Churches renewal and revisioning coaching, and New Community Impact Strategies (NCIS) assistance with outreach strategic and funding planning.
Partner for Kingdom Focus – Synergistic initiatives to start and support vibrant churches in our communities and beyond. Examples include our ongoing Church Planting Partnerships in Vancouver and Wisconsin, New Church Starts in our region, and assisting our churches to partner with each other in missions and local ministry in their communities.
